Merry Christmas to you and yours! This year has been filled with such joy and love for our little family. It’s amazing how much can change in a year. Just take a peek back at our 2016 Christmas card! A little family of three, not yet knowing what was on the way.

Here is this year’s family Christmas card from my favorite design hub, Minted. I love how Whitney Coudray Photography captured our family and most of all, how those photos helped us to share our joy through a simple card. Our shoot at a local Christmas Tree Farm was what Christmas dreams are made of! I know the holidays can feel stressful for many of us. But sending and receiving holiday cards is one of my favorite traditions of this season. I read every card we receive and feel such warmth from them. I suppose this is my little way of sending you all a Christmas card.

Wishing you blessings and joy on this wonderful holiday. Merry Christmas to all!

xx,

Heidi

  1. Happy New Year, Heidi! I stumbled upon your site a few weeks ago and have enjoyed getting to “know” you and your beautiful family. Your charm is both natural and very relatable. I see you also have quite a following on Instagram. I’m writing because I’m a former editor with Pie Town Productions, who produce many reality shows on HGTV, and I think you have potential.

I’m afraid I can’t offer you much in the way of an audition or even a referral. That’s not what I do but if you’ve ever thought about getting into television, I have a recommendation. Keep up the good work on this lovely site and your Instagram but I would suggest more videos on your YouTube page. Whether it’s baking tutorials, candid confessionals, or touring some of your favorite spots, the more video exposure the better. It will allow you to strengthen your connection to your fans and you’ll feel more comfortable in front of a camera.

Many of the shows I used to work on (I’m a stay-at-home now!) had hosts that came from beginnings similar to your own. The more you branch out, the more likely you are to catch the eye of someone who CAN help you. Take care, good luck, and I look forward to your next post!
