If you noticed that Julian and Jet look smaller in these photos, it’s because they were! I just discovered this post that has been sitting in my draft folder since November! Yes, November. Needless to say, being sick for the past few months has put me into a bit of a brain fog. But I still wanted to share this post with you all, because Point No Point really does hold a special place in my heart. Alright, now on to the post…
One of the best parts about living in the Pacific Northwest is the scenery. We are surrounded by beaches, lakes, trees, mountains. Geographically, we’ve got it all. One of the beaches that I grew up going to is Point No Point. I couldn’t wait to take Julian to see this Hansville highlight. Hansville is the northernmost tip of the Kitsap Peninsula. It’s a bit of a drive from Bainbridge, about 35 minutes, but it is worth the views once you arrive! There is a gorgeous lighthouse on the beach that you can even rent out! I had no idea it was a rental! That may need to go on our bucket list.
It was a chilly winter day, but we bundled up and brought the whole gang! Jet played fetch, Jules got incredibly sandy and we even spotted a couple of seals! Wish I could have snapped a good photo of the seals but they were being pretty stealthy. It was a fun adventure to enjoy the beach, even in the winter months! And this beach never disappoints.
Have you been to Point No Point? Let me know if you get a chance to visit!
